Orinda Rotary offers in-person meetings that include scheduled speakers! Our in-person meetings are held in the Founder's Auditorium at the Orinda Community Center and include no-host hot lunches. Social gathering starts at noon and the meetings begin promptly at 12:30 PM. Click here to let our caterer, Leslie, know if you plan to attend in-person and have lunch (cost is $25 per person)! We also use the online teleconferencing service "Zoom" for those who prefer to attend virtually. Each week, members receive an e-mail from Club President, Aruna Poddatoori, with instructions on how to join the upcoming meeting, including the requisite meeting ID and password. Members can join video conferencing from their computer or via phone. Non-members interested in participating in our meeting(s) may contact President Aruna to request the Zoom link.

- Wednesday, September 23: Leonard Pirko brings us up-to-date on what's happening at the Orinda Theatre in the fall, along with Acalanes Union High School District Superintendent John Nickerson, who will give us a "State of the District" presentation.
- Wednesday, September 30: Stanford lecturer and public policy analyst David Crane discusses California's controversial public pension fund and the "Rainy Day Fund that Was."
- Wednesday, October 7: Our own Horst Rademacher, retired UC Professor of Earth and Planetary Science, will talk about Glaciers in an Era of Climate Change.
- Saturday, October 10: Our annual Tom Fitch Fishing Day from 9:00 to 1:00 PM at the San Pablo Reservoir benefitting the Oakland Boys and Girls Club. Also October 10 from 4:30-7:00 PM, Rotary helps out at the "The Art of Mixology" in Orinda Theatre Square, benefitting Lamorinda Arts Council.
- Wednesday, October 14: U.S. Heart Ambassador Narendra Narayan of the Children's Heart Hospital in Fiji presents "Healing Little Hearts, Saving Precious Lives," about the life-saving mission of the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital in Fiji.
- Friday, October 16: Monthly volunteer outing to the Contra Costa Food Bank.
- Wednesday, October 21: SF Rotarian and Senior Manager for Public Policy of the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce James Horseman will discuss AI Tools for Everyday work and Life - AI Changing the Way We Work, Live and Serve.
