Orinda Rotarians were among the many fellow citizens celebrating the nation's 250th birthday on July 4 when we joined the throng of local organizations marching in our town's Fourth of July Parade!  Each year, club members proudly don their Rotary garb, decorate cars in the red, white and blue and line-up with fellow citizens to march through downtown Orinda as the Pick-Up Marching Band sets the pace.  Afterward, we segued to Orinda Community Park to man our very popular beer booth, which raised funds for local community projects and beyond.  Many came by to a enjoy cool one -- and many also visited our club table where we promoted all the good things Orinda Rotary does to make our community special and to be invited to join in!
