Sue Breedlove announced that Shelby’s is giving 25% of every dollar spent for lunch or dinner on Thursday, May 16, toward our own Carlos Rangel's AIDS Ride -- a $10,000 fundraising goal . Carlos will be cycling from SF to LA in early June. Let's support our member by having a delectable meal at Shelby's!
Dick Marchick spoke of Seniors Around Town a volunteer opportunity to drive local seniors to appointments or to the super market. Arrangements have been made for 50-60 seniors to be squired at the annual Opera in the Park program in July. They are also one of the beneficiaries of the Classic Car Show and "Dancing with the Cars" event, which Rotary is chairing in September.
