Club President, Ken Jew enjoyed a surprise send-off with plenty of kudos for his service during a most challenging Rotary year. Blindfolded, Ken was transported to the home of Rodney and Vanessa Lal, where members enjoyed their first in-person get-together since the COVID shutdown in March of 2020. Ken received high praise for leading our club's transition to all Zoom meetings -- and for continuing the club tradition of "Service Above Self" in the midst of a pandemic via the monthly volunteer outings to the Contra Costa/Solano County Food Bank. All enjoyed the wonderful food provided by our long-time caterer, Leslie Masler, too! 
Clay Deanhardt will take the reins as Club President starting July 1. Clay joined the Club in 2007 and has been a valued and active member -- for many years running Orinda Rotary's Field Day, among other volunteer activities. Welcome Clay!
