SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS- AN ADMAN'S DREAM
Klauber, focused specifically on this year’s advertisements during the Super Bowl. Ted has worked with ad agencies in New York, Detroit, Seattle and San Francisco, and has designed and reviewed advertisements that have played during the Super Bowl. Ted noted that commercials during the Super Bowl cost $3.8 million dollars a minute. Over 50% of the persons who watch the Super Bowl watch the commercials more than the game. Only 54% of the persons who watch it are men. Over 108 million view it in the U.S. alone and over half the households watch it. This year there were 12 car commercials, 12 beer commercials, 5 movies advertised and 5 snacks advertised. According to Ted, Super Bowl Sunday is second only to Thanksgiving for the amount of food consumed in the U.S. in one day.
