The big Rotary event this month is the International Convention held in Seoul, Korea from May 28 to June 1. About 42,000 Rotary members from 100 countries will gather to build new relationships and exchange ideas across cultures. While at the convention, they will be able to enhance their professional skills, network to find a project partners, and will be touring Korea and learning about its culture and history. Our Rotary District 5160 is holding a social at the Convention on Saturday, May 28, in the Orchid Room at the Grand Ambassador Hotel in Seoul. There will be music, beautiful views, and a sumptuous buffet of Korean and non-Korean food. Our President-elect Gary Wong will be attending this exciting event and will report back when he returns. In case you think Seoul is not exotic enough, next year's Rotary International Convention will be held in Atlanta, GA.
