Next Tuesday (August 9th), we will sponsor our second musical event of this summer. Within the series Concerts in the Park organized by Orinda's Park & Recreation Department Orinda Rotary will present the 18 Piece Big Band lead by Dave Alt. Dave has been a band-leader and free-lance musician in the Bay Area for the past 30 years. He plays and teaches saxophone and trumpet. For those who will get hungry during the performance, Kenny's Heart & Soul will cater the event from his famous red and white food truck. Kenny is based in Oakland. The event starts at 6:30 pm in the Orinda Community Park. Bring your lawn chairs - and maybe a blanket if the fog rolls in.
