Jo Ann McKee celebrated her birthday and anniversary on June 14. Congratulations, Jo Ann! Husband Peirce was recognized for their anniversary last week.
Awards: Rotarian of the Year --President Jack surprised the members (and the recipient) with the announcement that Gary Wong is Orinda Rotary's Rotarian of the Year! Gary is being recognized for his outstanding service for the past year. Taking over as Treasurer at a critical time, Gary contributed to building membership and membership retention as well as straightening out the club’s accounting and finances. The announcement was made this week since Gary will not be attending next week’s meeting when the Annual Awards are made. Well done Gary!
