In mid-December, Orinda Rotary and the Miramonte Interact Club brightened the holidays for 23 families living in the Contra Costa Interfaith Council's transitional housing in Pleasant Hill. Sixty four Christmas stockings were given to 23 families. Included in the stockings were toys, games and gifts for parents and children, as well as movie passes and Safeway gift cards.
