ENGAGE ROTARY - CHANGE LIVES: PRESIDENT SUE TAKES THE HELM

 President Sue took office and shared thoughts and reflections -- and lots of photos -- from her memorable experience at the Rotary International Convention in Lisbon this past June.  The trip served as an inspiration for her inaugural presentation to the club about her goals and objectives for 2013-2014.

Sue was impressed with all the things Rotarians do around the globe – from eradicating polio to providing clean water to communities that have never had it, Rotarians are making a positive difference in the world. We should be proud to belong to such an organization.  She reminded us of why we joined Rotary – to serve and for fellowship – and mentioneImaged that there are many Rotary fellowship groups that can expand and enhance our Rotary experience, such as the Rotary Wine Fellowship,  which she and Jim enjoyed while in Portugal.

Going forward, President Sue encourages our participation and engagement in club activities and welcomes new ideas that will enhance membership and increase our enjoyment in belonging to Orinda Rotary.
