In celebration of the Lunar New Year, which begins January 22, Past Club President Weylin Eng and family are sponsoring two events in partnership with the Orinda Library: First, a kick-off the the annual festivities featuring a traditional Lion Dance performance in the Orinda Library Auditorium on Saturday, January 21 at 2:00 PM. The talented performers are members of Tomikaze's Champions King Fu Institute and will demonstrate their fabulous acrobatic and artistic skills. Seats are first-come, first-served. The second event the Engs are sponsoring is actually a 4-part series of workshops on the art of Chinese Brush Painting with Pauline Tsui, held at the Orinda Library on consecutive Mondays January 23, January 30, February 6 and February 13.
