ANNOUNCEMENTS - June 5, 2013

Dan Lawrence reminded us of the bocce ball tournament on Saturday, June 8th - Martinez Waterfront Park.  Over 50 Rotary teams are expected to compete and there will be food and libations for all.

Barbara Bontemps apologized for the lack of a newsletter this week.  She needs volunteers to take notes at each meeting.  Anyone interested, please let her know (thanks to Lance for be this week's scribe).

Dick Marchik reminded everyone about Opera in the Park on July 28 from 4 to 6 p.m.  We need volunteers to assist with food and beverage sales.

President Jack encouraged us all to turn out for our annual 4th of July celebration. Don't miss marching in the parade (arrive at BART between 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.) and ehlping out with our beer booth afterward.
