ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR APRIL 10
President Jack thanked the Club for the written comments he received concerning our move to the Orinda Country Club. The comments were very supportive of the move -- and he was pleased that more than half of the comments he received were from past presidents of the Club. Our move is scheduled to take place on May 8 -- so mark your calendars to show that the meeting will be held at OCC.
Robert Berber will host a social evening of poker, bridge, libation and fellowship at his home on Thursday, April 25th. Sign up ahead of time and join him for a fun evening!

Sign up to be on one of the work crews.Kevin Merrick reminded us that the 63rd Anuual Rotary Field Day will be held on Saturday, May 11 (the day before Mother's Day) at 8:00 a.m., Del Rey School. We are expected to have a record turn-out, so please sign up to assist with one of the track and field events or with the BBQ. It will be a great day for all involved!
Wint Mather sidelined Janet Keeter's introduction of our speaker with his impromptu commentary about his recent trip to Burma. He donned a colorful Burmese hat for the purpose, shared a proverb about living "in the moment," and plugged a book about China that he recently discovered before President Jack gently nudged him offstage so we could begin our program.
