Last week three Miramonte Students creatively expounded on three diverse and interesting topics during our annual 4-Way Speech Contest. Each speaker addressed their topic by putting it through the mill of the four-way test (Is it the Truth, Is it Fair, Will Create Goodwill and Friendship, Is it Beneficial to All).  Daniel Ginsberg (left) won with a cogent argument about why the US should curtail its relationship with the Saudi government.  Second-place went to Caiseen Kelley (right), who focused on the need to encourage young women to pursue studies and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).  Bryan Wang (center), who finished third, gave heartfelt summation about the reduced attainability of the American Dream for Millenials.
On a side note: Twenty yours ago, their speech coach, Miramonte Public Speaking Teacher Kristen Plant, participated in our Four-Way-Test speech contest herself.
