If you want happiness for an hour -- take a nap. If you want happiness for a day -- go fishing. If you want happiness for a month -- get married. If you want happiness for a year -- inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime -- help someone else.(Chinese Proverb)

The Club welcomed Frank Brunettias our new President for 2015-16 on July 7. Frank took the reins in style, with a review of his goals for the year (Have Fun!!) and a summary of improvements he hopes to make based on members surveyed with respect to food, communication, membership and Rotary's presence in our community. He also (much to the delight of those present) did away with the dreaded "Wheel of Misfortune," our long-held tradition of imposing fines for milestones such as birthdays and anniversaries. Instead, President Frank has opted for voluntary "Happy Bucks" to celebrate the good events in our lives. And WOW!! Did we rake it in on the first try! Don't know the exact figure (I estimate around $400.00-plus), but we had a lot of happy members! Frank also introduced his Board for the year and presented each member with a Rotary pin denoting their role (pictured). Congratulations on a great first meeting, President Frank! We look forward to your year as our leader!
