In its March 2nd issue the Rotarindan reported about the success our Rotary-sponsored "Odyssey of the Mind" team had in their regional tournament. They built a structure from balsa wood weighing only 1/2 ounce (shown on right) and loaded it with a weight of 790 lbs without crushing it. Recently, they took the winning streak even further and won their category in the statewide competition held at UC Riverside. The next stop for them is the world finals, which will be held at Iowa State University May 25-28. We wish them all the best.
