CALL FOR CITIZEN OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS

Each year, Orinda Rotary together with the Lamorinda Sun honors Orinda's Citizen of the Year. The nomination process is now open. Nominees must be Orinda residents who have made life better for Orindans and perhaps beyond the borders of our city. As always, sitting politicians are not eligible for this honor. Nominating letters for Orinda residents should be sent to Catherine Jacobson, Editor of the Sun, 175 Lennon Lane, Suite 100, Walnut Creek, CA, 94598, or by email to cjacobson@bayareanewsgroup.com.

Nominations must be received no later than the end of the day Feb. 19. The winner will be announced on March 4. The awards dinner to honor the new Citizen of the Year is planned for March 18. See Bran Yaich for more details.
