For over 70 years, our Rotary Club has served the city of Orinda and beyond by supporting projects that benefit local citizens, as well as those less fortunate in surrounding communities and around the globe.

Many of our projects have enhanced the quality of life here -- the play structure and gazebo in Orinda Community Park, the kitchen in the Community Center, Wagner Ranch Nature Area improvements, for example -- and supported our schools and teachers with programs, scholarships and Teacher Recognition. Some of the events we sponsor have become valued Orinda community traditions --  the annual Spring Egg Hunt, and Rotary Field Day, for example  Other things we do, like the Tom Fitch Fish Outing with the Oakland Boys' and Girls' Club and our team of Meals on Wheels weekly drivers, reach outside of Orinda in support of youth and seniors who need some extra attention or help.

We are actively involved in searching for ways to contribute our time and financial resources in service to our community.  To have the funds to do so, we became partners in the Orinda Classic Car Show by sponsoring its annual kick-off dinner, the "Dancing with the Cars" fundraiser. which benefits the "Seniors Around Town" transportation program, as well as other local charities.  We often successfully partner with other local non-profits to provide needed community amenties, such as the lights for the very popular Wilder playfields and the playground at the Moraga Commons designed for the benefit of children with disabilities.  Our members also provide volunteer support for events such as Orinda Action Day, Lamorinda Idol and more.

Orinda Rotary is a vital part of the fabric that makes Orinda such a special place.  Check us out by coming to one of our virtual meetings -- every Wednesday via Zoom.  Contact our Club President, Clay Deanhardt, if you would like to attend. Visitors are welcome!
